LOL.. my X1950pro Xfires are getting pwned too [by this and other recently released games]. I think it's time sell off the x1950pros and upgrade to a faster solution...

My 8880gts 320mb was seeing 'some' drops in fps, to 20ish or so in really intense action and when dropping out of the plan and looking down, but besides that, smooth as butter on full settings at 1680*1050. With one or two things to medium I'm sure my minimym fps will be 35 and up. And looked amazing.

Btw, I downloaded it with 1800kb/s My connection won't go any faster lol

this demo was far more impressive than the bioshock demo IMO, both in the gameplay and graphics department.

the only thing that could be improved on is the sound effects, they are kind of weak

I had my 7900sli rig at 1920 with all on high and will need to turn it down for next time. On my 7600gt I kept it at 1024 and medium settings and it ran fine. I got a couple of "unlocks" and also went by several places that told me how to get more for doing specific airdrops and stuff. Just hope that's all explained well in the manual cause I had no idea they were coming when the icons started appearing on my screen

holy crap is the motion blur overdone in this game, it practically made me sick...

The motion blur was fine for me.

Also, I was running an x1900xt, with 2GB DDR2-800, and an AM2 4200x2, and I was running very smooth. I dunno about you guys, but smooth for me could be anything from 29-37 FPS

PA was garbage through and through. I don't have my hopes up for this one. Have a feeling it will be a 360 port.

yeah, I'm running an x1950 pro 1680x1050
got an E4300 with 2 GB of RAM, demo with everything on high ran fine for me...I'll run it with FRAPS this time, but I would guess it never dipped below 30, probably in the 40s for the most part.

this was on 1920x1080 with everything on high. I didn notice buttons shining like little lights, but I did notice that glare and lighting is a bit overdone, but personally I like it better than if the lighting was more 'realistic'. The controls felt really good as well, mouse movement was smooth for me. One thing I really loved about the controls was if you're strafing and go into iron sights your guy leans automatically. I used this quite often int he demo, its a really easy way to peak around a corner. This is the only MoH game I've actually enjoyed, I just hope the PC version doesn't have extreme copy protection.

I'm going to pass on the demo. I'll wait for the full game to hit stores and see some reviews first. If its buggy I'll wait. If its not too bad out of the box I'll buy it.

I noticed an odd glowing sparkle from a guys pocket (almost like he had a flashlight on and stuck in it) during the briefing scene.

lol, I noticed my char doing that but couldn't figure what was causing it. Once I did it was a nice trick to use.

has anybody noticed that this game spawns 4 threads on a quad core? this game is definetely multithreaded, and it uses 60-65% of my cpu. other games use around 20-25% (they spawn only 1 thread).

were on the right track here... hopefully other developers will follow the example.

wow.

I suspect that the physx engine is running in software mode on the cpu. so unless you have a physx card, you better have at least a dual core cpu!

I never played any of the other MOH games until the demo for this one.
The aiming sucks. even with iron sights its like you still miss half the time.

Graphics are pretty cool. The ground in 1 sections was really like glossy/shiny and I saw where someone else said the buttons on your clothing were like spotlights.

not sure I'd buy it.

Aiming sucks? Your aim sucks, thats what you mean I have no trouble iron sighting the bad guys with a garand. Make enough kills and the aiming and accuracy will only improve. If you're talking abt using iron sights with the thompson or the mp-40, german machinegun, those guns are for close qaurter, you don't aim with them, you spray with them when you rush into a building ^^ The gun accuracy is in my opinion pretty realistic. No you can't really aim as well as I'm doing with some of the rifles getting headshots 9/10 times, but the thompson and the colt handgun are pretty realistic, this is probably to make sure they aren't overpowered.

And I'm going to check out my CPU when playing the game. I wouldn't be suprised if it maxes out my x2 3800+ @ 2.6ghz.

Update,
I had played the demo on my work machine (P4 3.4G, 3Gig, 256M 6800GT), and I noticed A LOT of mouse lag, much like PA (I think it was PA, at least until they released a patch for it).

But then, I go and play it on my home rig (2.4 6600 C2D OC'd to 3.2, 2G, 8800GTX SLi), and had NO mouse lag whatsoever. Like schneiderguy, it push both Cores to 100% w/all settings maxxed. The whole experience was MUCH more enjoyable than the first time........

The 'lean right or left' thing is kinda weird to me. I dont know if I have to adjust my aim or not....lol!

One of the neatest things I like about this game/demo is the way the enemy dies/falls. Especially when you get one or two with a grenade and see the bodies blow slightly upwards and away from the blast. That just looks sweet.

One thing I found somewhat unrealistic is you can run forever without getting tired and losing the sprint ability.

I once blasted a guy with a Thompson, and the guy blew up into my position...it was funny because I got a commendation, so the guy was flying in slow mo. It looked funny.

Played through the demo and really liked it. I thought the AI was pretty good and the graphics are nice. I shot this guy hiding behind some sandbags and his hand got caught on the sandbags as he fell backwards, his arm stretched as he fell....

I am having a strange problem with the demo. The game is responding like I am trying to go hard left all the time. I can use the controls to turn briefly but then my point of view snaps left right away. I am guessing since it hasn't been mentioned this is not a common problem?

OK..solved my problem. I unplugged my Logitech USB joystick and the problem went away. Strange, no other game has had this issue.
