This is the second trailer I've seen for this game, and the first one left me with a sour taste in my mouth. The character animations in the first trailer were so horrible, and the graphics looked dated.

This on the other hand is by far one of the most intriguing trailers for an FPS that I have ever seen. I can say now that I am officially excited for this game. It's just a trailer, but it raises some interesting concepts. A thoughtful story in the FPS genre? Could it be? I guess we have to wait and see.

looks ok. I'm not sure what to make of it, after being inundated with MW and MW2 stuff--the CoD envts sure looked a lot more crisp and epic.

This will probably take on the more realistic approach, but I'm not sure that'll be any good.

I'm of the opinion that anything is better than modern warfare 2. It had the most far-fetched, incomprehensible, and random story of any game ever created. Tetris has a better single player story than modern warfare 2.

I loved this trailer because it actually seems like they are going to try and make a connection with the audience through emotion. Not just replaying scenes from action movies over the last 20 years.

I preordered with EA had their $20 off $50 sale. Very excited for this...but then again, I'll pretty much buy/play any FPS on PC.

DICE is doing the MP, but that still doesn't tell me anything. E3 this year should be a big deal this year though. Let me make a separate thread...

I was going to say....that trailer was horrible. I think there was 5 seconds of in game video and 25 seconds of fade effects with text

So far the FPS war games for PC sucked this year IMO. I'm sick of shooting 3 feet behind someone and watching them die from it later.

Could be crazy, or it could give each studio more time to perfect their half of the game. Also, with DICE working on the MP side I have some faith that it will actually be decent. BC2 is so fun and so frustrating all at the same time. Can't wait for the next patch.

Of course...the Medal Of Honor 10th Anniversary pack is nice.

Sometimes I feel like the only one too. I LOVED it. It was one of the best games I played that year TBH, and I'm never quite sure why so few people liked it as much as I did.

Before COD4, MOH was the better single player game but it always sucked balls in multi-player.

Call of duty has been the same thing too lol. I'm more interested in getting a single player with a cohesive story, and mutliplayer without all the cheap no skill idiocy that MW2 has.

Bah you hurt my feelings MoH MP was tons of fun for me back in the day. I would play with my cousin and we'd post the top 3 best scores all the time. I loved that map with opposing buildings and the never ending stairwells, it was a sniper/shotty wet dream.

So for me this Reboot sucks balls, it ain't nothing even remotely close to the original, nothing but a name grab.

checked out the IGN article, and this game has blipped considerably larger on my radar. Who knows what it will be like, but DICE is doing the MP which is...interesting.

Yeah, but in COD you were mostly doing it with other people, it furthered the illusion that you were a soldier in a war, not god.
