How did this game get worse reviews than MW2? The single player is great if you ask me. I wish danger close had made the multiplayer as well. The guns just have this awesome sense of weight, and the sound is ridiculously awesome. No idea how single player for this game got bad ratings. I love it.

What is the deal with getting 1 and sometimes 2 hit sounds and you are dead within a second, yet when you are shooting someone it can take several shots/seconds for them to die? 90% of the time all I hear is THUD, dead, even from the same guns I use. It's not that I'm bad as you are probably thinking, I usually have 2:1 KD or better.
This must be some sort of lag that all servers have? It just doesn't feel right. I'm guessing the people I kill experience the same thing though.

It's the game's god awful hit prediction system. If you play cod2 you will notice this same phenomenon quite often. The difference is that cod2 is 5 years old, and you hardly notice this problem in cod4. MoH is brand new and the hit prediction is worse than a 5 year old game.
I was experiencing the same thing until I upgraded my Video Card. I haven't played a first person shooter since my counterstrike days 8 years ago and this was the first game I bought for my new PC build. I was borrowing my brothers ATI 2600xt till video card prices dropped this week and I got a Nvidia GTX 470... once I installed the new video card my ratio went from 3kills/7 deaths to 4kills/1 death... I would still hear 2 thuds when getting shot at but I still survive and by then I moved out of harms way and live to shoot back (Unless someone gets a direct sniper shot or head shot on me)... :awe:
My hd5870 allows me to know that it's just the game's awful hit detection.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's not my SLI 480s causing it either =p
I just finished the single player for PC...i thought the game was pretty cool. Def. linear but cool none the less.
Switch to MP and you won't feel like a wuss. You'll feel like tearing your own dick off and using it to choke yourself to death. Worst game ever. Period.
Eh...I feel like I wasted a good $60 on this game that probably would have been used towards a future SSD for my build...
