seems to suffer from similar problems as BC2 in objective play. everyone wants to snipe and... the attacking team doesn't even get far because of it.
One thing i did notice though, is that the maps are very linear, so people are forced to complete the objectives, unlike in BC2 which you can run around freely and screw around on hours end.

Play 5 minutes, server disconnect, EA servers are unavailable, rinse repeat.

Which makes killing people all so much easier. There are a few spots or cycle routes I had down within 5 minutes of playing a map.

I like the Special Ops gun way more then anything else. The sniper guns are pretty much one shot one kill from my experience quick experience. I do like the hold breath button which was lacking in BC2.

Graphics look decent but sometimes shit just blends in a little bit.

It is a little scary though that some bugs people are complaining about are still present from closed beta. Maybe they will fix it but I don't have a lot of faith in DICE.

I can't log on to the servers right now. At least I'm used to this after BC2. I'm seeing quite a few people saying they love it. So we'll just wait and see.

I'm very interested to know where the hell the reviews for this game are, last time i checked, it comes out next week and there is 1 UK review. My google RSS feed hasn't changed in days. How the fuck does EA expect someone to buy a game when there are 0..ZERO...NADA reviews out 1 week before it starts, i ain't gonna pre order no dang game reboot til i know what i'm getting. Come on EA.

reviews usually dont drop till the day before or day after depending on if the company has gag orders on reviewers.

At least this has been the trend lately.

Black Ops reviews/previews hybrids are already dropping all over the place and the game doesn't come out for a while. Game informer had a 4 page spread on it just the other day. We barely know anything about Medal of Honor than just the basics. Not to mention the so called "BETA" for consoles was flat out trash.

I've played for a few hours this evening. And I'm not really impressed. I don't see myself plunking down $60 for this game. It doesn't have anything that piques my interest.

I feel like it's BC2 with a few COD attributes. Seems average to me. Graphics-wise it's BC2 with new weapons. Gameplay-wise it's Rush and Conquest like in BC2. It even uses quite a bit of the audio dialogue from BC2 (for the US at least). It's fun, but it just feels like more of the same from the past 3 years...

I think this will make my decision to buy COD:BO or MOH quite a bit easier.

Yea this doesn't seem that different at all. Also it's waaaaaaaaaaay too easy to kill with any of the guns. I played rifleman and spec-ops and both guns are basically just spray guns except at very long distances. It's not terrible but not $60 worthy. I won't be buying Black Ops since it's the same as well.

This game is garbage.

Feels like a very watered down version of BC2, with less HP and more DMG weapons, a crappy HUD/Menu

its not bad. no where near as polished or good looking as MW2. Not quite as fun either. I've played worse games though (BC2 MP).

I'm downloading it now. COD MW2 was like that in that all the guns were insta-kills. Just point and pull trigger = dead enemy no matter what. Whomever pulled the trigger first won, it didn't matter which gun you were using.

Strangely I actually kind of liked that since BC2 bothered the hell out of me with everyone using the same damn medic gun (M60).

i have to wonder if some of you even played MW2 with some of these comments.

MW2 has some crazy aim assist, i have never played an easier game in my entire life, all my friends were calling me a stud because i was so nasty at it(thanks bad company 2), when i returned to bad company 2 the other day, i couldn't hit a bus parked in a NYC jam outside of yankee stadium.

I played for about 30 minutes. Played really smooth, and I cranked all graphics up.
Kinda fun.. I got my ass handed to me though, as I still don't have the feel for the tactics or weapons. Doubt I would spend $60 or even $50 on it. I hope it will be a special for $25 around Christmas time on Steam... then, MAYBE.

Guns hardly have any recoil at all..

That rush map is retarded. The bottleneck is so bad a half decent defending team can easily beat a decent attacking team.

Also is it just me or can't you spawn on the conquest flags? I always get put back at the start, which doesn't matter too much since the map is so small I guess.

It really just feels like a camp fest.

According to Steam I've played MW2 for 175 hours, it's one of my favorite multiplayer shooters in the last five years. If you took my comments of 'every gun is an insta-kill' as a criticism, it wasn't. If you don't think MW2 was a 'whomever pulled the trigger first game' then I'll flip your comment around in that I'm not sure what game you were playing. Even the "bad guns" like the F2000 were still hilariously powerful and easy to rack up kills with.

Enough about MW2, I played 15 minutes of MoH just now and do not like the game. Will not be purchasing... it has a BC2 feel but without the awesome vehicle vs infantry dynamic, and the graphics in BC2 never appealed to me while MoH doesn't look to improve in that area (washed out colors, lots of sand/snow blowing around). Also, and this is fairly minor, but the player movement in MW2 felt really good - you could strafe left/right while sprinting...etc. It bugs me that I can't do this in BC2 and now MoH.

it bugs you that you cant run around like one of the elite rb's in the NFL while wearing 40lbs of gear and accurately firing an automatic rifle?

Its cool that you don't like realism, but just plainly admit it

I'm a bit mixed on the game. On the one hand, I love that it runs hella smooth and has great graphics. The gameplay is more of a mixed bag. I've had some really awesome, intense, epic matches that were just a ton of fun.

Then I got spawn camped in an objective map, basically making it impossible to defend. It's a bit of a mixed bag, though I'm leaning towards it right now.
