Boring boring boring! It's actually a step BACK from BC2. The guns are boring, there's hardly any recoil. You can aim at a general direction and hold button for stream of kills. Like other said, the maps are boring, and way too constricting. It's okay maybe for 4v4 or 6v6. It's basically BC2 made to copy MW, except they took out everything fun about BC2. The upgrade system is dull and lifted straight from MW (even the 3 slots for perks/upgrades).

There's no way I'd waste $40 on this, let alone $60. At this rate, Black Ops is going to wipe this away on sales.

I think EA deleted my pre-order. I cant find it anywhere on their site.

If anyone wants it I think I might sell it for $45 shipped. Dont think Ill be playing it much and WoW is around the corner.

I do agree, the maps are a tad linear and the lack of prone is pissing me off. It feels like I'm constantly exposed.

As for the guns, yeah, it seems like there is something off with the mechanics of them. It seems like they are over compensating for the fact their current engine cannot register bullets consistently or the animation of the guns are horrible. All guns seem to fire and react exactly the same.

the new beta is freakin' awesome. i love the capture map, nice and tight and lots of action. i do hate the rpg and grenade launcher whores tho. otherwise, it's quite a bit of fun. i'm somewhat torn on the conquest map, the few games i've played so far regressed into sniper matches quickly, but there still seem to be paths around that.

i am a little worried about a beta a week before release, but what the hell.

much better than mw or mw2, and for me better than bfbc2 so far.

I think the games alright. I like it more the MW2 and I never played BC2 so I cannot comment on that.

I think I'm going to end up getting Black Ops unless they add more classes or make them more customizable. I feel like theres not much to upgrade for. It all seems meh but I think its a bit late to expand that section anymore and we will only see more maps on release. I think I will pass.

Though I am on the fence about Black Ops as well. I hate MW2 but I heard any non infinity ward CoD games are very good. Oh the choices.

i've died so much in this beta simply because I can't pick out the enemies from the environment.

Never had this problem in BC2.

I played the pre-order beta, then i played the open beta. Feels alot smoother and more polished graphics. Almost feels like playing an optimized version of BC2. still on the face about getting it because i only put like 16 hours into BC2

You two must have a small ass screen. I could pick off people from across the map in arica harbor easily with a freaking PP-2000 or SCAR-L.

Was reading the MOH beta thread over at NVNews and saw them discussing that all the BFBC2 .ini tweaks can be used with MOH, including Bloom, FOV, etc.

Also, It was mentioned that if you rename the .exe to the same as the BF BC2.exe and run it, the NVidia drivers (ATI too?) will take advantage of application detection and apply the same performance tweaks ( and the stutter fix (the multi core optimization that causes BF BC2 to chop) ) that they have in place for BF BC2 (until they release new drivers with it in place).

I wonder if setting the FOV to what I use in BFBC2 will make me play any better? Unlike some others in this thread that are apparently used to this hectic play style, I was coming in LAST in almost every round I played (usually NOT true in BFBC2).

I'm dead serious. Sure everything is washed out and mostly devoid of color in BC2, but MOH is even worse.

I'm not use to MW play style but I think this game must be like it because it is so easy to kill people. Usually I'm top five on my team in BC2 but in this game I was one or two no matter which game map it was.
