What programs(besides windows media player) do you guys use to watch .avi, .mpg, and .mpeg files? Is there something out there that is better or equivalent to windows media player? Thanks

i like windows media player classic too. simple and it does the job. the only drawback for me is lack of playlist when i want to go through a couple of videos or so. when i need to do that, i actually use winamp. i like winamp's easy to use playlist. btw, winamp 2.9 or whatever that was.

actually mplayer classic has a built-in playlist.. it's on the menu somewhere (I can't check right now.. I'm on a Mac), you can just drag the files you want to play to the playlist area.
NOT the built-in mplayer2.exe in windows, this is for that modified mplayerc.exe from sourceforge, check the link above.
