Could give these guys a try they have Bison, Kangaroo, Elk, etc

http://www.smgfoods.com/

We used to have a place right around the corner even had Tiger meat, till the outrage shut it down for the raising of them just to make steaks came up.

The place is closed now, used to offer all the above and more.

Even growing up in the 1970's, we had a farm raised Beefalo at the time, one guy locally had a herd of em in Indiana.

I had prime rib at a reputable restaurant this past weekend and I opted for medium rare while my friend got the same at medium. I couldn't stomach anymore leaving about a quarter of the steak. It was too red, too fatty in parts, and just not visually appetizing. I did my best. I think medium is actually the way to go.

I do order burgers medium rare and it doesn't look like that steak did. But that's probably because the burgers are actually cooked to medium - there's a lot less red.

On the other hand, runny eggs are all kinds of awesome. Blood... not so much.

Why doesn't anyone name the restaurant in these kinds of threads?

Was it Golden Corral?

It's hard to beat the value of a GC. Not only can you enjoy soft serve after your steak, but there are occasionally some nice single ladies peepin' around the potato bar.

Women of Walmart.

Our Golden Corral's are usually in their parking lots / shared space.

I am not sure if this is the right place, I think I was in Denver, CO when I was looking for unique places to eat. However; they had Rattlesnake at the time.

http://buckhornexchange.com/

The website is different than I remember.

Had a meal in the Outback that consisted of Crocodile,Kangaroo and Emu....Crocodile was awful, Kangaroo wasn't bad but the Emu was amazing.

Taco Fusion? If so, the issue was lion meat, not tiger. Was tempted to try it but $35 for a lion meat taco seemed a bit extreme. A decent place in the Tampa Bay area to get exotic meats used to be Harr's in Palm Harbor. They carried ostrich, elk, kangaroo, boar - along with some other exotic meats - but stopped selling many of them. Was a shame. Kangaroo burgers were pretty tasty.

I just placed an order for half a steer locally sourced and grass fed. I'm having it aged 21 days ( I asked for longer but they said no) Then they'll cut how I specified.

1) that is not a traditional steak house. Your prime rib was COSTELA DE VACA and was only $19 with sides. While perhaps that restaurant is reputable as you say, so is Golden Corral.

Churraquiera usually means "Sizzler" in spanish

Its Portuguese.

The Brazillian one I go to is amazing but you don't order rather they come to your table to cut you a slice. It is all you can eat and no you cannot order medium or well done.

http://www.yelp.com/biz/agora-churrascaria-irvine

Filé com bacon – Filet wrapped in bacon
Alcatra – Succulent and tender cut from the top sirloin
Maminha – Tri-tip steak roasted to succulent tenderness
Costela de Carnerio – Flavorful lamb chops
Lombo de Porco – Seasoned pork loin
Filé – Filet mignon cut from the tenderloin
Picanha – Traditional Brazilian cut of sirloin
Linguiça – Delectably seasoned pork sausages
Coraçáo – Delicate chicken hearts
Lombo de Porco com Queijo – Roasted pork loin
Frango – Marinated chicken legs
And more…

The Portuguese places are also all you can eat for the Rodizio...some Brazilian steak houses also have other items on their menus. Why one would go to one of these places for other than what they are mainly selling outside of being with a large group, I have no clue.

No it was $28 on the menu in the restaurant which I recall because the all-you-can-eat that they bring around to the tables was only a hair more at $32. Sorry if this doesn't sound like high-roller material (I know that's all you care about), but I don't make a habit of paying crazy prices for things I shit out the next morning. And yes it was a large group. I essentially paid $75 for it. I don't even like steak that much - can't you tell? But that doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on a medium rare steak that was too bloody red to look appetizing bite after bite at a restaurant known for good meats. Read the reviews - NY people know a little something about standards given all our choices. And there are no Golden Corrals here. So yes, medium rare is too rare and unappetizing in my view. The restaurant - it wasn't our first time and the Rodizio is indeed good.

Apparently their menu is wrong?
