niiiiiice. i have a slightly modded (ecu chip, exhaust, suspension) B5 passat and it's loads of fun, i can't imagine how awesome an S4 would be

Yeah, I got a decently modded (ecu, exhaust, turbo, suspension, bigger injectors) Audi A4, its awesome. If I could afford to buy an S4, I would.

Yeah, I got a decently modded (ecu, exhaust, turbo, suspension, bigger injectors) Audi A4, its awesome. If I could afford to buy an S4, I would.

OT: Twin turboes on the RS4 V8! Yum Yum! All I can think is "Flash the ECU." Although with that much ... what more do you really want. I imagine there could be much more though, 500+ perhaps?

i've heard the 2.0T is absolutely ridiculous in modding - a simple ECU mod can get it close to S4 (the de-tuned 4.2V8) acceleration/speeds

Oh it is. I was poking around on APR's site and if you swap out the K03 for the K04, with software you can push 298hp and 321tq
Which isn't too bad at all. That kit will cost you 5k, but even then its still 10k if not cheaper than an equally optioned S4. That and you will retain decent gas mileage, at the expense of your warranty.

It's nice...but I just stepped outside my office and saw a new Porsche 911 S Cabrio...I want one of those MUCH more than the S5. But I have to hand it to Audi. Their designs, both inside and out, and their implementation of MMI is fantastic. If reliability were a non-issue for me, Audi would be it. It's only competition in my mind is a BMW 335i without iDrive AND without Active Steering.
