From left to right
Sally. We got her off Craigslist during the pandemic when it was impossible to get a dog for some reason. We got her from someone in the middle of Los Angeles and it is easy to say we both won the dog lottery. She is my dog and if I have a lap she is in it. She is also too nice. When we come home the dogs are happy to see us and she just stays in the background waiting her turn. She also stays in the background when we are handing out treats.
Tina. We got her two weeks ago from the Downey shelter. She came in as a stray and someone adopted her and then returned her after 3 days. She was growling at their kids. Since she was a stray she was pretty feral and did not really like people. We knew that we could rehabilitate her (we have done it before). She has been watching our dogs and learning how to be a house dog and has come an incredibly long way. Now she loves to see us, wags her tail and actually comes up to us. However if we try to pet her she runs away. Another week or two and she will be there.
Mary. Mary got her name because on the first day we were fostering her she was in the backyard and my wife was trying to get her inside. Instead of letting my wife get her she decided to turn and jump in the pool. So we said she took a "Hail Mary" into the pool. She has turned into the play dog. Both Tina and Sally like to run and play with her.
Now we come to Louie. I am actually not sure what his name is. I though it was starting as Luigi, then we called him Louie. Then my daughter started calling him Weeg. Whatever his name he is the old man of the group at 13. His goal each day is to either lay in the sun or to get under a blanket. He also wants nothing to do at all with any of the other dogs. We have a ramp for him on one sofa so he can get up there and also a ramp so he can get on our bed. Sally has started to slide down the ramp and itch her belly.
Let's see what you got.
