People like this apply the "ignorance is no excuse" mantra to science that they don't understand.

"I know nothing about this and am going to proceed to demonstrate that that's the case, but I still hope that my uninformed opinion will change the science."



So some eukaryotes haven't changed in a very long time. Big deal. That doesn't mean that it's untrue. They occupy an ecological niche that still exists.

You might as well say "But 50-inch smart TVs exist, therefore 27" TVs can't be around anymore."


(I also didn't make it through more than about a minute of the video. It's nothing that hasn't been ignorantly expressed before.)

Apparently dragons are possibly real because they are in historical stories and she saw a dragon scull once (a dracorex). The story she relates of a museum researcher correcting her ignorance illustrates how much of a smug illogical condescending bitch she is. The urge to smack her fat face is almost irrepressible.

The point I was trying to make was that scientific and religious studies can coexist perfectly fine in the same institution.
