Hi psyjsay, and welcome! I hope you enjoy your time on this board, and that it gives you an opportunity to spend more time with your estimable husband.
He may not have told you this, but it is an unwritten rule, more of an etiquette thing, really, that new posters, when they introduce themselves, post pictures of themselves. That way, we will all have a better understanding of who it is we are conversing with. This rule is what people allude to when they ask, 'pics?', and you should not take it as a request to ogle you.
To close, I heartily welcome you to our forums and wish you all the best.
Signed,
Preslove
p.s. Pics?
. . .Wait until your wife figures out that she can search through all your old posts!
All of you need to jump on a treadmill or somethin.
As the mom of a 21-year-old autistic kid, I'm offended by that statement. I'm sure what you mean is "gainfully employed".But I have now clearly defined research interest that falls within the realm of organizational behavior/ industrial psychology. I want to help find a solution to the problem of people with autism not working.
Olds, not on the first date.Hi.
Is your husband as odd in real life as he is on here?
As the mom of a 21-year-old autistic kid, I'm offended by that statement. I'm sure what you mean is "gainfully employed".
I'd let it go except that it's at the heart of the problem. My kid has spent his entire life so far being told that he's broken, he's useless, he needs to be fixed - he's NOT WORKING as a human being.
Take ANY group of people and tell them from birth that they are worthless human beings, and they'll have a high unemployment rate too.
Good luck with your research.
There is no proof that I have seen that confirms they are his kids.Wait a minute! Kids? So you actually HAD sex?
She's not posted much to the Internets... but since I spend about 12 hours a day on this thing she wanted to interact with me here.
Her name is PsyJSay so say HI to her and friend her and be nice because I just asked and she said she didn't know what '4-chan' is... but she guessed it was an emo internet entity.
Edit:
As per request for pic:
The perception of the autistic mind as nothing but a disability is what I am advocating against. I understand your frustration though and appreciate the rebuke. As the mom of a 21-year-old autistic kid, I'm offended by that statement. I'm sure what you mean is "gainfully employed".

So, I need a clearer definition of odd.
