If by memes OP means overused advice animals and those e-cards that morons often try to use as a soapbox, I agree. But, as evidenced by this thread, there's obviously more to memes than that.
Memes are awesome. If gives the average person an artistic outlet, and some of them are pretty funny. I especially like image macros.
I'm glad this thread turned out just as it should have.
:hmm:But the average person isn't an artist, or talented, or creative so it ends in disaster.
Nothing is more boring than predictability. I guess others have a different opinion.

Parody threads qualify as an ATOT meme, I believe.
Any reason you've posted a predictable meme on ATOT, if you think they're so boring and unfunny?
We should kill the Hume thread before it reaches the milestone it is so very near and turn this into the new Hume thread.
None of them are funny. It's like people who quote Napoleon Dynamite. I just want to punch them in the face.
That's not my opinion of him, I'm guess you've got pre-existing beef with the ol' Rake?Because he's a stupid fucking troll?
It's just a rehashing of the same lame joke over and over, except you told it worse than the last guy because you're not funny enough to think of anything original.
Great comeback. Did it take you all afternoon to google that?
