I found a bunch of these on the shelf at BB in Union, NJ. Took one to the computer dept. register for a price check. When it rang up $1.99, the blue shirt guy said, "Wow, I'm gonna buy me one!" and on the way to the shelf told another couple of customers about it. I scooted back to the shelf and grabbed up as many as I could carry, and told the others to stock up at this price. About 15 of these were gone in seconds; I had 8 of 'em.

As I left the computer dept., another blue shirt said, "One to a customer." I just said, "I'll take my chances at the register, thanks."

No problem.

I have been reading that BB was cancelling some orders so I went by after work tonight to see if they had any in stock. Our BB has SEVERAL locations for CD's and the like. Found 6 on the main shelf and took my five (as I had ordered) and then went around the store; found 20+ on another shelf in the 40X and 48X variety.

All-in-all, 100 48X CD's with slim cases for $10.70 out the door. Not too bad.

So, remember, LOOK AROUND the store and you might get lucky!

Just picked up 7 at the Palo Alto, CA store. There were at least a dozen more left on the shelf. For those of you interested, check the shelf on the far right wall when you first enter the store, they're not in the CDR isle.

What?? You have 3000 packs? A pack is 20 CD's. That's 60,000 CDs!!

I ordered 10 last night, still no e-mail, I ordered ram from microcenter on Tue. still no e-mail!!!! but they charged my credit card, I don't have my order #, does anybody know if the card gets charged does this mean they (microcenter) shipped? and also what method do they use for standard shipping for ram?

Yeah, I just got the same e-mail... looks like I'm getting 1... but that's alright, as long as they charge me for 1! I could use the jewel cases anyway.
