Where'd you get pillows like that?
We got a tuft and needle bed recently. It does the job pretty well and its not any hotter than my previous pillow top coil mattress. Do note that this is just foam and not 'memory foam', so its firmer. It's made it easier to sleep on my stomach or side without my back hurting. However, because these beds are flat on top and you don't sink in the sam way your normal pillow may not work for you. Also best to ditch the box spring and got with slats.

We have a full latex mattress. They are expensive but will last a lot longer than other mattresses. Memory foam and latex mattresses are heavy so you need a good supportive foundation.

We also have latex pillows. I'm a side sleeper and prefer the medium/firm. They are more expensive than conventional pillows but will last a lot longer. Ours are 5 years old and look like new. Do a Google search, they are available from multiple vendors.
We got ours from Walmart for <$30.

I agree on most of the ratings except the price. You can find them on sale or use a coupon for <$30.
We got a Casper last year which is latex on top of foam. I liked it but the wife thought it was too hard. We replaced it with a pure memory foam mattress from costco and we have been happy. It isn't too hot and we spent less than $1k for a king.
What kind did you get.
Does anyone know how latex beds affect those with latex allergies?

Yeah, I built a plywood platform king size (two twins pushed together) that sits 2 ft off the ground for extra storage underneath. I could probably modify it for slats. hmm. The main issue is that I use a waterproof mattress cover which is bed bug proof so airflow probably isn't going through it anyway.anything should work, but I'd advise going with something that lets the mattress breath a bit underneath--many slats as opposed to a solid wood base. Don't worry about the slight gaps between slats causing an issue with the foam as it settles.
Depending on where you live, especially if humidity/mold is a problem, the underside of that bed can get real funky, real fast, if you don't let it breath.
And of course never ever never ever never be duped into the box spring scam.
To soft? To heavy? To hot? Gel memory Foam?
With this years tax return I want to get a decent bead. I have been looking at memory foam. I need opinions
