martn10, If you don't need the features on the E you don't have to use them - they can be disabled. So it all depends on your requirements, and, of course, on the price.
The main enhancements on the E is the Firewire and RAID. Some boards have Audio and LAN too.
After my experience I would strongly suggest that you just get the P4B533 or the E. As you can see from the previous post, there is no disadvantage, only benefits in the form of stable memory overclocking.
I haven't seen any substantive negative reports on these boards. In fact I think that the reason why there are relatively few reports on these boards is because everybody using them is happy.
It is only guys with problems (like myself) who spend a lot of time on these forums.
I think that I will also call it a day, though. I achieved more on the CPU overclocking than I expected (40% overclock) and far less on the memory. Maybe it balances out, who knows.
