Memory Prices Crashing Down.......

Well maybe according to the Inquirer. It's a good bet to me.

DOUBLE DATA RATE (DDR) memory prices are crashing through the floor today amidst claims that some of the big memory manufacturers, the Dramurai, are dumping stock like there's no tomorrow.
For example, 256MB DDR modules are costing as little as $36 and that's causing a number of brokers and memory dealers to clear up their stock, big time.

Kingston is selling 256MB DDR SODIMMs for $55 today...saw it in HD forum. That's the lowest I think I've seen it for regular price.

I am planning on upgrading my mobo/cpu in a couple months. When i get my new cpu I know im gonna want to oc. So I might as well buy some good oc'ing ram while its cheap (even though i dont need it yet). Do you think prices will go down more, or should I buy now?

Yes yes the good old days. When I built the PC that I'm using now 256 Crucial PC2100 was $35. 1 week later Hynix had that price hike and prices doubled. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Time to buy some PC3200 and 3700.
