Before anyone gets the wrong idea, the 1GB PC3200 mention is actually a kit of two 512MB DIMMs. 1GB DIMMs (and larger) of PC3200 are not yet widely available. Heck, you can only seem to get these DIMMs from large system integrators who build Opteron servers and stuff.

$19.99 for 128 MB SDRAM is cheaper than what I've been seeing on ebay.
I wish I had seen this post as soon as it was posted...I wouldn't have wasted time on ebay.
Picked up 128MB from Circuit City to upgrade an old Compaq Deskpro. My search is still on to find an inexpensive 4 MB SGRAM module to bump up this PC's video RAM to 8MB!

What kind of problem? The deal is dead now, and even yesterday you could only order 1 and there was a 2-4 week backorder, but before that I think it was fine.

it's not teh greatest price and I got Spectek -6A chips, but my computer is blue screening 1 minute into Win2K and I need my, er ah, media files.

Grab the Fuji 48x 50pk for $12.99 - $8 MIR = $4.99 while you're there; mine Fujis are made in Japan (not Taiwan) . Very good for burning said media files.

I've read everywhere that, when employing DDR technology, one should purchase matched RAM.

Is this absolutely necessary? It's quite a bit more expensive than the non-matched and I'm wondering if it's really worth it. To me, an extra $50 is not worth some minicule improvement on a benchmark that will never translate into my everyday life.

Under PC4000 you have listed the Kingston KVR400xxx modules, those are actually PC3200...
