If my Dell Latitude c600 calls for a PC100 SoDIMM, can I use PC133 instead? I don't seem to be able to find PC100 stock.

WOW, Albrandwood, you're right. A ordered 30 minutes ago, and it WAS $176. Now when I click on it, it shows $199.

Very strange...

EDIT: Try this: LINKY

Select PC3200, and it still shows $176... Wierd...

Must be some kind of cookie madness, as now my first link shows me $176, when a few minutes ago it showed $199...

You have to "promo=boost" it. A promo=boost seems to be good for a while through your cookies for all the RAM. This is something to remember the more we all end up visiting this website looking for deals. Please post this in all future RAM posts!

It needs to go in the middle like this...

http://www.ec.kingston.com/shop/partsinfo.asp?promo=boost&ktcpartno=KHX3200AK2/1G

or at the end like this...

http://www.ec.kingston.com/shop/partsinfo.asp?ktcpartno=KHX3200AK2/1G&promo=boost

After you boost it, you don't need the "promo=boost" in the url anymore.

I just ordered two Kingston KHX3200/512 sticks. How do I get the free Kingston T-shirt? I hope they don't just include a medium size T-shirt in the shipment because I wear an X-large. Medium would be useless for me.

The second one in this listing, Staples, has changed. The new online price is $129.99, some of the stores have this price of $129.99 and some of them have a price of $89.80! Yesterday I purchased this ram at a SoCal Staples for $89.80 then used a $15 off $75 coupon and I'm sending in the $50 Mail in rebate. Final cost to me will be ~$30. Two Socal Staples stores that I know have the lower price: 1962 Barranca Pkway, Irvine and 2050 North Tustin Ave, Orange.
I bought it at the 7777 Edinger Ave, Huntington Beach store but I had to pricematch to the stores above.

Good luck people.

The Kingmax 512MB DDR-333 SODIMM is now $85 at newegg. I bought two sticks and they work great on my IBM Thinkpad T40 notebook which takes DDR-266 (PC2100) memory. Highly recommended.

I dont think the kingston 512 PC3200 price is correct. The site is showing $115 - $25 for the rebate, not totaling what you said.

$59.99 ($25 MIR) - Kingston KVR400X64C25/512 - Kingston.com SKU:KVR400X64C25/512 [01/01-01/31]
$49.99 ($20+$20 MIR) - Kingston KVR333X64C25/512 - OfficeMax SKU:20348223 [01/11-01/17]

Is it worth the extra $10 for the KVR400? I just bought the KVR333 from OM, not sure why other than I may want my server to have 1GB vs. 1/2GB.
My server is an epox 8K5A2+ using the KT333 chipset and will probably never get beyond fsb333.

PC3200/DDR400 is only worth buying over PC2700/DDR333 if your machine supports it. Or if you plan to upgrade your motherboard to a 800Mhz FSB (actually usually a 400Mhz FSB, but the manufacturer's like the sound of "800Mhz" :-D)
