I run a KT7 w/1GHz TB. I have a Micron PC133 256MB (Lat=3) stick, and a Micron PC100 64MB (Lat=3) stick. I have both these running well at PC133 and at the Medium Setting (7.5ns) in my BIOS.
My question is about bank interleave.
The 256MB stick (I believe) is double-sided, which would be 4 way interleave. The 64MB stick is one-sided, which would indicate 2 way interleave. So, if the above is correct, what type of memory interleave setting should I use? 2? 4? or nothing?
I presently have it set as 4way. It seems to speed up some tasks and slow down others. My baseline was no interleave settings with just the 256MB PC133 stick.
Anybody have any input?
