Memory Upgrade screw-up - Help!

I bought a second stick of 128Mb SDRAM and when both sticks are in, Windows(98)won't load.
When either stick is in by itself, no problems

Here are the details from Sandra... I see a difference in the memory types. Is this the cause??
What characteristics between the two modules should match?

Your new memory is ECC, or &quot;error correcting code.&quot; This may be your problem. You might want to take the memory back and exchange it for standard SDRAM, or check your BIOS settings for anything relating to &quot;SDRAM ECC&quot;. Try and disable ECC, that might help.

I have a Gigabyte 6vx4x and an Abit bx6r2 and neither will allow me to mix ECC with reg ram even if it is disabled. Who knows maybe you'll have better luck. If its an option though I would go and get reg ram that way you will always be able to mix without problems.
