I have shaved my face around 1000 or so times from when I was about 12 until 16.
Then I grew a beard.
I have shaved my face like 5 times or between 16 and 38.
Have not ever shaved any other parts of my body.

I shave it all off.

I like to start with the legs, then the arms, chest and ?

I only started trimming last year but haven't really kept up with it. It's just a jungle if you leave it for many months, but I don't exactly think about it all that often so I haven't kept up.

It's incredible the amount of time you can save in the morning when you have a beard. Every now and then I shave the neck area but that's about it. It's great! I usually shave it off in summer but been debating on if I want to keep it year round. Maybe just trim it down and keep it short in summer.

I should have started growing one way earlier in life, I don't know why I waited this long.

Have had a beard all my life except for a shave during some neck surgery, Beards are great for parties as well. See how many pencils it can support.

Trim. Why shave? It's a recipe for irritation.

Note: Hair reduces friction. That's why humans were designed to grow hair in key areas.

I do not get it, hair reduces friction ? Does that not mean you have too much fat ?
When i used to jog, i also trimmed and shaved and never had friction burns because of having no hair in the private regions . Only once from wearing the wrong underwear for a 10km run.
Ever since removing the hair, i feel dirty when it is getting too long, i miss the fresh air and the fresh feeling. And i have to remove it.

It kinda provides a space between two pieces of skin, like your butt cheeks, or thighs etc. I had researched on the ramifications of shaving the rear nether region because it's like an old growth amazon forest back there, but through research found out it would be a BAD idea because of friction. It starts to cause lot of sweating too. The hair kinda helps let it breathe by adding a small buffer zone.

As a side note never shave right down to the skin. Imagine how painful an ingrown hair in that region would be.

I trim, dont shave. The hair is necessary to prevent friction burns between the sack and inner thigh.

Ditto as I am a runner. I also started to use acne medication with salicylic acid to prevent jock itch. So far so good but it is not summer yet.

This makes me wonder if we should make a thread called : Do you wear nylon underwear ?
Because underwear and socks with high nylon content are a recipe for sweating and smelly odors.

I often just use this stuff because i am lazy and scared for trimmers and knifes near my private regions :

You have to watch the clock and know what you are doing or it going to be burn baby burn, but it works very well.
And just like after shaving your private regions... You might want to skip spraying aftershave there for 24 hours...

Out of habit, i spray aftershave on my private regions after taking a shower (Yeah, it is a fresh thing i have). And i also did just after using this stuff.
I howled like a wolf at a full moon.
A lesson learned...

Notice they do not actually recommend using it on nether regions, just the bikini lines, which is not the same.

Lol. Friction during intercourse mostly, if we're talking pubes, though also w/ inner thigh generally. Armpit hair alleviates friction too. Head hair is just for sun protection really.
