Personally, I think a guy holding flowers looks gay, no mater who they're from... girl, guy, easter bunny... etc.

Yeah, if she likes him then surprice him with a little something, like a souvenir or somehting, if not, then nothing at all.

To take ideas from the thread, a stick of RAM, a AXIA Tbird, tequila and hot sex will all get a girl on my good side...

Flowers might embarass some guys.
They might also send the message that she has a thing for him (of course if that's true, it's not problem )

Personally I wouldn't mind getting flowers from a girl, but it would bother some guys.

I also wouldn't assume it meant she liked me, though I think most people would.

I think a lot depends on who this mysteryman is and where these two are at in their long-distance relationship/friendship. If this guy is a sweetheart/sensitive type then get the flowers (he probably is if he talks a lot on the telephone). However if he is puts off other non-flower type vibes..skip the flower/gift all together. She should give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek...that will be enough for most guys.
