I'm not condoning what I'm about to describe, but just like how both management and employees exploit company policies via painting shades of grey into what's supposed to be black and white like the paper and ink it's printed on, that barber shop, in their own way of exploiting the law, could have done a really lousy job on the lady's hair "just short" of getting sued in the hopes that she'd never ever go there again.

This ^^^^ I would mess that crap up so bad she would never come back.

Interval said his staff recommended other shops and even offered to pay for a haircut for the woman in another salon to compensate for the inconvenience.

I don't see a problem other than she wants to cause problems for innocent people. Pee on her.

Barbershop is for men, Beauty Salon is for women.

The first thing you need to to is know what you're talking about before making lame excuses for other people. This is what the woman asked for, a fade cut-

https://www.google.com/search?q=fad...ChMIlM2plevsxwIVh5uICh0fRAlw&biw=1064&bih=619

It's a man's hair style that's becoming unisex.

Yeh, cutting a woman's hair every month or few would really spoil the atmosphere, huh?

The whole place would be poisoned by estrogen.

So when did a feminist rip your balls off?

Just yet another stepping stone on the path to emasculating men.

Until I was 18 my dad, brother, and I would go see Les the Barber in my small hometown. The guy was straight out of a Norman Rockwell painting, and, in fact, he had a few originals in his shop. He only did one cut, close. He and my dad would talk about hunting, cars, lawns...etc. and my brother and I were just supposed to sit there and be quiet, and that's what we did. Read national geographic, hunting or car mags that he had neatly stacked up. We listened to Les and *never* screwed around. It was about respect, and we respected it.

Only after he died did I find out he was a highly decorated officer in WW2. I still miss that guy.

At any time he had more testosterone in his little fingernail than you probably have ever produced in your life Jhnnn. It must be quite sad to feel so "enlightened".

Good grief. The shallowness of your psychological self understanding is really amazing. You have no idea at all, do you, that if you are concerned about being emasculated by women and fantasizing about your testosterone levels, you were emasculated long ago. We always project what we fear about ourselves onto others. You were made to feel respect, told when to feel it for others, told that was how you earn it from others. You are no match for real men. They don't need respect. Your actually, behind all the noise you make, rather sad. I don't respect you, but I do feel sympathy for your tortured condition. It's not necessary and one can grow out of it. You just need to make a better connection to your feminine side. You need to learn how better to nurture and love your self full spectrum. You suffer from excessive arrogance, and the bigger they are,,,,,,, Learn to feel.

I feel plenty, which is why I feel the need to defend myself from dickless wonder "males".

Otherwise your post is nothing more than you usually post, circular logic, platitudes, cliches, and a bunch of bullshit intended to make you look enlightened, but you're really just some hippie wannabe. You missed your decade 40-50 years ago. Go live in a commune.

I get a pedi at least 4 or 5 times a year. This place is 2 stores down in the mini-mall from where I get my hair cut.
The barbershop is pretty obviously set up for males, but I'm pretty sure they would never turn away a female patron, especially since all of the groomers are female.
At the same time, I sometimes get some funny looks when I go in for my pedi (only seen a male in there once). Never been turned away.

Really don't understand why the place (subject of post) would not cut her hair.

Because they don't want to?

Ohh, I forgot, we have to give everybody freedom by removing everybody's freedom.

All those lunch counters in the south didn't want to serve black people either. This is literally the exact same law.

As an emotional weakling you're gonna spend your life feeling like sand is being thrown in your face. It's the feminine side that is good at handling pain. But then of course, you enjoy feeling like a hopeless victim because it's how you really feel. And why would you really care that I am evolved far beyond you? If that were true can you imagine it would matter to me? Wouldn't the only reaction of such an evolved being be to help you along your own path?

Imagine that you owned the whole universe. What else could you do with it but give it away? You live a life of competition and can imagine no other way of being. You see what you are and you are what you see.

Blah blah blah. Imagine that moonbeam owned a brain. And that brain existed in the real world. And that real world was not a commune. Imagine the stars and pop tarts. Ohhh the pop tarts filled with real fruit. Imagine the bunnies and hasenpfeffer, but that would hurt bunnies, so we must not do that. But imagine the rainbows and unicorns. Ohh, and rainbow bright, how wonderful. Imagine the clouds and the expansion of the mind like the wind and rainbows and unicorns, it's like, so groovy.

Ohh the pop tarts.

Get in touch with the pop tarts, man.

Long ago I realized and ceased to be bothered by the fact that folk who feel sand is being thrown in their faces and I point that out to help them, will mostly try to throw sand in mine. You can have no real understanding yet of the advantages that go with emotional wisdom. Think of me as your true self which you want to kill because it died long ago. Think of me as the pain of awakening to that truth. Knowing all about that pain nothing you can say holds a candle to it. Like you, I was murdered. Try to be good to yourself and love others. We are all the same.

More hippie trippy platitudes and cliches. Great for you, go enjoy your pop tarts and unicorns. The rest of us (well, except for eski) live in the real world.

I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus' garden in the shade
He'd let us in, knows where we've been
In his octopus' garden in the shade

I'd ask my friends to come and see
An octopus' garden with me
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus' garden in the shade.

We would be warm below the storm
In our little hideaway beneath the waves
Resting our head on the sea bed
In an octopus' garden near a cave

We would sing and dance around
Because we know we can't be found
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus' garden in the shade

We would shout and swim about
The coral that lies beneath the waves
(Lies beneath the ocean waves)
Oh what joy for every girl and boy
Knowing they're happy and they're safe
(Happy and they're safe)

We would be so happy you and me
No one there to tell us what to do
I'd like to be under the sea
In an octopus' garden with you.

Why the fuck would you go pay a guy to cut your hair that obviously knows fuck all about cutting hair?

In my dad's world there was only one haircut, what Les did. I was (and am) just fine with that. Not that it was a buzz cut. Just wasn't fancy. It was also cheap

I went to same barber from age 15 to 55 (except my time in the service) and he only did regular haircuts, close on the sides and back. If I was on leave from the service I'd always get my hair cut there before retuning; much better haircut.

For all those who are all incensed about this subject; send the Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs an email:

http://www.dos.pa.gov/ProfessionalL...al-and-Occupational-Affairs.aspx#.VfM_hiyFNrR

i suspect a polite letter about their justification might be informative.

Those that want to rant or praise can get their $0.02 to someone who couldn't care less.

I now have so little hair left, if I didn't have a beard I would never go to a barber shop.

Les the small-town barber? The WW2 vet who only did one cut? The one whose shop was VERY "neat" and "tidy," with all of the magazines so "carefully arranged," but who talked about all sorts of "manly" things?

Oh, yeah. THAT Les. The FBI had a file on Les. You don't want to know.

I hope you never let "Leth" give you his "special" haircut in the back room. Yep, that would explain it.

Let me guess, you go to a salon and have Fabio massage your hair into a hipster hairdo. Great for you.

No. I just don't get the attitude of picking someone for a job thats obviously not qualified to do that job.

Think about it for a second. Your proudly saying that the guy didnt have a clue what he was doing but you went there because he had lots of testosterone...
