SimMike2 what OS are you using. With Win98SE I am here to say it is true: Get the latest INF/PNF files from the Compaq Site. Esp before returning the monitor.
Without the latest compaq drivers hiqh resolutions looked horrible. I got something like 1280x1024 60Hz (or perhaps 70Hz). With the latest inf I'm getting 1280x1024 80Hz and it looks beautiful.
