if the blower stays on when the fuse is removed you've either pulled the wrong fuse or you have a short. The circuit is some how closed behind the fuse. There may be more than one fuse, one for the relay and another for the motor perhaps.

Thanks folks. Another dumb question. Where can I find the blower relay?

Honestly I have no idea, in a GM I could tell you, but I'm not at all acquainted with MB. I've heard that parts counters at the MB dealerships are very helpful. It might be worthwhile to make a call.

Well usually on many cars the a lot f the relays are in the same box as the fuses. I would get the blower running and then go pulling relays (one at a time) in that box and anywhere else I could find them until it turns off. If you do find a relay that makes a positive click as you pull it out and the blowers goes off then you know the relay is likely good. If however you can't feel / hear anything as you pull it it then its probably bad. Once you think you have isolated the relay responsible I would leave it out and try other systems on the car to make sure you have not removed a relay for another system.

To be fair though I think the advice above of asking the parts desk at Merc is a best first step as sometimes they can get damaged pulling them. They become really stuck in there over time.

Fuse 18,20,and/or 21 under the hood should stop the blower motor from running(the blower motor at the right side of firewall).
If it's the blower motor under the armrest then it is fuse #1 in the trunk.
Don't leave the fuse out as it controls other things.
I don't believe there is a relay for either of these fans as it is managed thru the controller(those buttons on your dash panel).
Not a MB tech-I just looked it up!!
