What about adding the prefixes to thread titles in Hot Deals now that the merger is complete (like how FS/FT has the prefixes "Sale" "Trade" etc). They could be set like "Free", "Contest", "Hot Deal"...
Great suggestion. Not sure how difficult it is to do this, but I've brought it up with the rest of the mods for discussion.

It's time to allow eBay deals in hot deals. MANY big stores sell on eBay, and I find myself on other deal sites to find these deals.
The old reasons to not allow eBay links don't really apply now, and Anandtech is not keeping up with current times. The Deals forum is a shell of its former self and sees very little activity.

This has been done; you can now add these prefixes to threads in Hot Deals.
