I hate Christmas, not what it stands for but what it's become.
I have a tendancy to think the same way at times, I see a lot of things at this time of year that I dont agree with (corporate greed, ridicule, hurt feelings,
poeple standing in the exchange line at K-Mart on the 26th, greed in the eyes of most children and adults, lying to our children with all these pagan traditions, not meeting "gift" expectations, people telling me what they want for a gift, and on and on.
It does help the economy in a generally big way though, even though its retail america sticking out thier greedy fingers, but the extra jobs created are good. But all the hoopla associated with these rather strange traditions (killing trees to put in your house) this probably looks quite funny to a lot of the other nations of the world.
But every year I just sit back and watch the antics, let people celebrate as they wish, respect thier beliefs and tolerate it. Because there is nothing I can say to get rid of the pagan traditions that most do not agree with. Hope the ones who celebrate this day have a happy one.
