I'm just going to add to the laughing at the predictability and massive hypocrisy of the Trump camp.

A celebrity dares criticize Glorious Leader Trump, even if's with grace, intellect and nuance... and sure enough, his cheerleaders rush to his defense by parroting clichés about out-of-touch celebrities, the liberal elite, and other tropes that show no independent thought.

You voted for a reality TV star with a golden apartment. You aren't in a position to talk about elite celebrities getting involved in politics.

It's is humorous that a man who shits in a golden toilet and finds moving to the White House a step down is complaining about the elites. Keep lapping it up.

..."they get tar sands and corn fields"...as well as Congress, and the Presidency. I'm glad you like your new bubble.

I'll tell you Doctor Savage, I like it a hell of a lot better than your bubble. I mean look around you: Your biggest celebrity supporters are the likes of Don King and Chachi. Mel Gibson looks pretty dejected watching that speech, maybe he holds similar values of entitlement and grandiosity along with latent racism as yourself? Seriously... you're not in good company.

I'm glad that our bubble is so much nicer than theirs. They get duck dynasty, Honey Boo Boo, and the 700 club. We get literally everything else on television. Oh wait they also got Chachi and Dilbert too.

We get the coasts, almost every piece of high value real estate and all the best educational institutions in the country... they get tar sands and corn fields.

I seriously can't wait until there is some form of "exit" for California or the west coast/hawaii. Should be fun to see the rest of this dumbass country go to shit when we let you go it alone.
Such is the arrogance of your bubble that you think California could "exit" unscathed and would lead to some utopia.

I would imagine parts of the Inland Empire and high desert would choose to join Nevada or Arizona. Perhaps Dan Diego as well given the Navy presence there.

Shortly after your exit, San Francisco and Los Angeles would subsequently engage in battle that will later be known as the Smugness Wars. Portland will largely sit it out, preferring to smoke pot and eat penis shaped donuts. Seattle will become the Republic of Amazon.

I suspect the coastal northeast, despite its own bubblelicious eliticism, would not follow California's lead.

Having lived in San Diego for a long time I sincerely doubt the people there want anything to do with Nevada or Arizona. California wouldn't 'exit' unscathed, although it would likely be more prosperous by itself than as part of the US considering it is a large net tax contributor to the federal government. If the inland empire left that would actually help California even more as that region is poverty stricken.

They would be awfully smug, that's for sure, although SF would easily crush LA in the smug-off.

If California left I imagine the northeast would eventually follow as it would have no hope of enacting broadly liberal federal policies or winning congressional majorities. The US losing its two most economically productive regions would be a devastating blow.

Not to mention it's entire western coastline -- hard to get things to/from Asia at that point.
That being said, California etc are not going anywhere in our lifetimes.

It doesn't take a whole lot of courage to speak to people who think and live like you. If she really wanted to speak out against something happening against someone who is disabled, she'd have spoken out about the live streaming torture and kidnapping of one less than a week ago. But I don't suppose that would have gone over very well for her crowd. Hollywood and the average media lean far left, sad to see how much media this is getting considering other current events.

That being said, Trump sounds like a buffoon as normal. He needs to stop tweeting, stop taking such offense to what others say. They feed off of it, and it makes him look childish and petty. But I don't think he'll stop, he's shown no signs of it yet.

Without the environmental restrictions and wage protections imposed by coastal liberals, you would probably see a resurgence of manufacturing in fly over states to the extent that it would mitigate the need for imports.

This ignores what would happen in real life. The federal govt would decimate California in a civil war.

Yeah, let's speak out about something the entire country has already condemned. That's real courage. Not criticizing a famously petty and revenge-minded presidential elect

99% of that audience looked pretty dejected to me regarding the Trump win, maybe they hold similar values of entitlement and elitism along with delusional perceptions of "reality" as yourself? People are finally waking up after 8 years of so-called hope and change and have voted accordingly. The rabble and deplorables have spoken. But by all means, please continue to blame others and change nothing. Bitch and moan to your heart's content...minimalize any achievements and relish the inevitable adversities and failures. People want to see who you really are...be proud...this is your time to shine.

I'm sure all those flyover country workers would be totally jazzed to work for $2 per hour, get no healthcare, and enjoy their massively polluted environment.

I dont think one has to be liberal to be dejected by a Drumpf presidency.

Lost the popular vote by 3M and a bottom third electoral margin. Behold the "movement", libtards.

As a lifelong member of a flyover state, I appreciate my environment and enjoy it not being trashed by shitty manufacturing practices.

Then it was just a fluke that Democrats lost 1,042 state and federal seats this election?

The fruits of pouring money into the local/county/state levels and gerrymandering everything in sight for multiple cycles. The Dems have woken up and are going to do the same thing now. None of this really benefits us as citizens.
