Trump making fun of a person for his disabilities while running for President at a political rally is apparently not worth commenting on, yet an actress critisizing this behavior on an awards show is highly inappropriate. If he doesn't want to be taken to task for this behavior, maybe he shouldn't have done just that. Although that hand flailing childlike act was part of his "Hollywood entertainer" type show he put on to help him get elected. it seems many on the right have an inferiority complex over celebrities shaming them in public. If you listen to right wing radio this obsession with Hollywood culture is a reoccurring theme. They'll say Hollywood celebrities are just entertainers, they don't know anything. That doesn't apply to radio hosts, of course.

I Remember a week or so ago when Trump said that Putin was smart to not react to Obama's sanctions for the Russians interference in our elections. He essentially said that this Russian dictator was to be commended for not taking the bait and making something into a bigger issue than it deserves to be. Why can't Trump take his own advice and not take the bait on every - single - fucking - thing - someone says about him. Awards shows - are usually live for viewership. As long as viewers love these "glitzy elitist" award shows that feature celebrities getting on their soapboxes, celebrities will keep getting on their soapboxes.
