The last time I bought some pseudoephedrine it had this type of marketing BS on it. Nexaphed I believe was the name of it. As long as there are other brands that dont do it, this is useless. I also googled and its not hard to defeat this protection either.

I don't know if you are joking but that is actually a huge deal for a lot of communities.

Hell I am happy about it because the damn methheads have almost made a very effective OTC medicine a controlled substance with their BS.

No joke, a few years ago I went in to get some Claratin-D, my girlfirend, now wife, suggested that I pick some up to clear up a congestion problem I get once a year for about a week when the pollen gets too high. I went into Walgreens and was told I needed a doctors note for one box. I would understand if I looked like a crackhead or something or if I was picking up an entire case of the stuff, but for one box that was pretty crazy.

I do see their point though, it seems like it wouldn't be that hard to convert it to something else if you have the users making it.

If its easy to get around all they are doing is making it more of a nuance for those who actually want to use the drug responsibly.

Eh, I think that it's pathetic that this company labels it "anti-meth technology." It's literally the absence of a key ingredient that makes it anti-meth (i.e. this substance cannot be extracted to be turned into meth).

That's like a lunch meat company labeling their roast beef as "anti-cancer technology" by not including nitrates. Just label the package as, "does not contain certain ingredients which are known to promote cancer" or something like that

Mexican meth is purer and probably just as cheap as diy meth. All I know psuedophederine is great for allergies and states are trying to make a prescription necessary to get some.

Aye. Not having as easy access to Sudafed is a minor annoyance, but the fact that it damn near eliminated meth houses has been worth it.
