I responded to the tone of crooked22's message, because if they were any satements made like he made wich cast anyone other than the white race in that light this board would have lit up like a christmas (oops i mean winter festivus pine) tree.

Maybe, but the board also lights up like a Christmas tree when someone tries to suggest the US or white people have ever done something wrong, and your post is a good example of that. Anyway, of course people are going to respond either way, this is P&N.

I think Louis Farrakhan is the leader of the Nation of Islam. I don't think he is a spokesman for black people like Jesse Jackson...

I've really never heard of anyone taking Chris Rock or Chappelle seriously... but if it really offends you that much maybe you should complain about it, something might happen.

I think Louis Farrakhan is the leader of the Nation of Islam. I don't think he is a spokesman for black people like Jesse Jackson...

and Jessie Jackson is not the spokesman for all black people either. So what is your point ?

You mean you never really cared to listen to anyone because it does not fit your PC agenda. To tell you the truth I don't find them offensive either but the truth is there is a double standard in this country regarding statements made from someone of color ( mainly blacks ) versus someone who is not of color ( mainly whites or anyone else who is not black ).

Why do your government then forces me to be an American citizen in the first place? (assuming thats where you are from). Maybe you should learn more about your history and learn the policies that have been in place. Do it, but dont expect all the information to be in one place. Its been watered down in between thousands of pages of laws, regulations, and policies.

This is much ado about nothing. This is simply some kind of cultural misunderstanding brought on by people who look for hatred and racism everywhere they look. People need to stand up on their own two feet and quit having such a pity party all the time.

How can a Mexican minority be guilty of Racism? (To quote typical remarks on racism by African American Activists). From my point of view Mexicans are people of color also. Maybe they just identify with that.

My wife who is Asian (Korean) has had problems with some African Americans that told her to go back to Korea. She promptly told the person to go back to Africa and all the other black people standing around just laughed because of the stupidity of the situation. How can an African American tell a Korean to go back to Korea? This shows that some people are always looking at things from their racism point of view and no matter what you say they will assume it is racism.
