Would you call something that promotes discrimination based on race racism?
What do you mean by promotes discimination? If anything silly groups like the Klan have had the opposite effect.

What's think in rascist ways mean? And whats wrong with that? How can thoughts hurt anyone? Cant unless you're a pussy. Remeber sticks and stones? Nope only discrimmination actually injures a party and is evil IMO. Until then it's all good clean fun. white jokes, black jokes, religion jokes whatever stereotypes you decide to have fun with.

No my point is everyone with a chip on thier shoulder or a guilty concence can find something racist and they need to get over themselves and concentrate on the real issues or they'll end up get laughed at on all their greviences. Cry wolf syndrome. Even legit ones like real discrimination. AA has some real good uses but as it is now so many people feel it's just more whining that should be done away with, it may be very soon.
I personally feel you can't be a racist unless you got the power to be. e.g. offering a job, offering a rental, serving food etc.. And that's where we should concentrate our efforts, real discrimmination which exists today. Not silly images, comedic vechicles, child comics, and double standards and thought police.

I wouldnt.
Hypocritical poser? Honestly what do you know about me? You really have some serious problems. Everything you've said about me is gross generalizations about people who like Che Guevera. I don't see how you have any room to talk.Originally posted by: cKGunslinger

LOL, you really got something out for me don't you gun boy?
Its sort-of hard to tell race when a dudes name is "CanOWorms". Nothing to differentiate him. That being said I think hes the only minority here.
Read the thread, at least someone else posted. This entire forum has many minorities.
Bah - but that doesn't let him feel like a Champion of the People, defeating injustice for those who need his help, now does it?
Now, do I have it out for you, Pro? You bet I do. You and every other hypocritical poser (hmm.. is that a typo? Nah, I'll just leave it.) who contributes nothing but gross over-generalizations about issues and people in some sort of holier-than-thou attitude.
So you have three choices - keep whining about your perceived "persecution" , simply make better posts, or climb down off your cross and use it to build a bridge so you can just get the fvck over it.

I am sorry that this offends some people, but I also am glad that some people out there still have the cajones to not be pressured by the PC crowd. Like one political commentator said, the right to not be offended is nowhere in the constitution.....
You do realize that we're talking about Mexico right? The US Constitution doesn't apply there and its irrelevant.
Do you think racism is wrong?
The constitution doesn't apply in Mexico?? OK, thanks for informing me of that. Anyway, my general point in my earlier post is that the PC movement, if not stopped, will eventually mean that the only way to communicate without offending "someone" will be freakin hand signals, and eventually somebody who was slapped as a child will be offended by that.

Uh, actually the white dude was the main character in the movie and in many ways was the hero.
Right, and he acted like people don't get upset by reverse discrimination. People do.

Reverse discrimination can also just be called discrimination. Whites can be discriminated against. Do you disagree with this?
Originally posted by: ahurtt
Nope, I don't disagree with that one bit. "Reverse discrimination" is a misnomer. It is just plain "discrimination" no matter who is doing the discriminating. My point was that there is no such thing as "reverse discrimination". . .unless maybe you put your car in reverse and back over somebody because of the color of their skin or their ethnicity.

Semantics. It's a useful term to distinguish between various forms of discrimination. Wikipedia..

In my experience a lot of immigrant populations are just as racist as American populations.

"White man" can be portrayed offensively...
For one reason only....
When you got "supremacy" and run over more than 50 nations (vanishing some along the way), and have a history of slaving people due to race (and later burning them in crosses), and have a history of imperialism (and meddling heavyly in other countries affairs--screw them all, lets make a profit), you pretty much lose all right to complain. Not a written law, but thats how resentment works.

I think it possible that you have never done any reading about the history of slavery world wide. Basically speaking The trans atlantic salve (europeaon buying slaves from africans and arabs and send them to The US (5%) and the rest of North South and Central America lasted for about 300years. The Arab slave trade across africa has been going on for 14 centuries.
So you before you go off half cocked and blame whitey for all the wrongs in the world , get your history from somewhere other than the last Ludicris CD.
I am in no way condeming slavery , just the ignorance to its true scope.
