Miami at Florida State?

I'm going out on a limb here and picking the Noles.

I'm a big Seminole fan, but I think Miami is overhyped, they have played noone and it is in Tallahassee...

I think this is the worst Seminole team they have had in over a decade, but will still be strong enough to squeak out a victory..

Your thoughts?

Miami has been untested so far. The teams that have beat are a combined 1-14 against Division 1A teams. The lone victory was against Buffalo, a school that's playing in division 1a for the first time. Miami will lose because they are playing at Florida St.

I wrote a quick program this weekend rating 243 teams (A, AA, and 3 II). It is rough, as I haven't yet optimized it. It says Miami by 14.

I don't really think the Noles have more then a prayer on this one... and no I am not a Miami Fan (GO GATORS).
What I have seen so far of SFU... they need to turn arround 180 if they want to stand a chance!

So far in this season, I'd have to say Florida could beat anyone by 7. That is unless some of these other teams improve in the next few weeks. 464 yards in 3 quarters, who could top that?

Edit: to show I'm unbiased, I'm a student at the University of Nebraska. A 15 second walk from the stadium.

All the Noles need is to get their offense in gear and for their quarterback to play a halfway decent game(keep in mind Weinke as a rookie against the Wolfpack....Noles got thumped)
Just really hope it doesn't come down to a Nole field goal or extra point attempt *cringes*

This quarterback has alot of room to improve though, before they can even be called a contender.

I still think the Gators are the team to beat though... November 10th for all you Gator fans...mark it on your calendars

They are not playing FSU on the 10th, but I bet they wish they were...

They are going to be playing the gamecocks and Lou Holtz in South Carolina. We will get to see how good Grossman really is...and keep in mind they play FSU the following week..

It is a very unoptimal program so far, but it predicts both major Washington teams to lose. UCLA over Washington by 8 and Stanford over Washington State by 15. I wouldn't put much into the Stanford game though, since they have only played 3 games so far. Honestly, I'd give or take 7 points on either game from these predictions.

FSU was decimated by graduation/draft. Not to mention all of the injuries. They have what, 4 returning starters on defense and roughly that on offense. I know they're always deep, but that doesn't bode well againt top tier teams.

I'd be real suprised to see Miami lose this one. It could happen, but I doubt it.

Canes are the same team as last year, but better. Dorsey has another year under his belt and the recieving corp is better. They lost to Washington early last year and that was it, no losses since then, including a whoopin of the gators in the Sugar Bowl. Remember that, Gators? No wonder they don't put us on their schedule anymore.

After the North Carolina loss, I don't have much respect for FSU this year. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out, I think it could go either way but voted for the 'canes.

I have tickets to the GA tech - FSU game that was postponed, and I really hope GA tech kicks some nole butt.
Ya, they lost a lot of good players, and they (FSU) have turned out some spectacular players, and all in all a great program, if not one of THE best, but the canes are coming, and they want Chief Osceola'a head!
