They are re-airing this one already....think MTV forgot how to play videos.

Yes

And he and Farrah Fawcett will dominate the news of the day. Of all the approximately 250,000 people that died today worldwide ... they will get the most press.

What does that say about us?

?
The difference is that we knew Farrah and MJ. We care about what happen to them. We want to know what happens to them.

The fact that you can't figure this out tells me a lot about YOU.

Michael Jackson will be mourned by the world, and that's a fact that a lot of you can't cope with.

The fact is that many people absolutely worshipped Michael Jackson when they were kids. He's like the Elvis of my generation (I'm 29 now). I had an MJ poster in my bedroom. I tried to emulate his moves, & tried to moonwalk everywhere i went.

Even though over the years, MJ became quite weird, I'm still sad because it feels like it's the childhood Michael Jackson that died today (even though that MJ probably died a long time ago).

You're 29 and MJ is the Elvis of YOUR generation? I think you missed the PURE PINNACLE of MJ hype by about 5+ years.

Why? He was at his peak in the mid 80's to early 90's. A 29 year old would have been about 5 to 13. Children listen to music as well, ya know.

I don't know, but I wish you would drink a tall glass of STFU. If your ignorant inbred @ss can't say something positive, then at least appear to be some what intelligent and sympathetic, and post nothing at all. He was appreciated and like by millions, and at least for the very moment deserves some damn dignity.

That's right. I got it. I work at the hospital and grabbed it while he was being worked on. Came off rather cleanly and surprisingly easy. Doesn't feel like skin so much as it does like soft vinyl plastic.

Interesting trades considered.

Yeah, he was never even found guilty and seems to be the claims were all about money anyway. He was a kooky bastard, it's quite possible that sleeping in a bed with a child wasn't seen as odd by him.

Yeah, they touched millions of people in a way that joe average who also died just didnt... Besides the other 250'000 people have their families or friends or both, people whos lives they touched in a positive way to mourn them. MJ and farrah are the same! just on a larger scale than the other 250k

There will never be another MJ or Farrah, both will stand the test of time. MJ has the biggest selling album of all time, and not by a small amount. Well over 2x as many. When one person has one album that sells 105 million copies. That's a special person. I would imagine after him passing (R.I.P.) Thriller will sell another 10 million easy. It's sad when anyone passes away, but MJ was the king of pop, nobody else can claim that. And nobody else will ever take his place. That's what makes his passing more important than the other people who died today.

Well, I'm not sure if our generation has anything close to an Elvis. MJ might be the closest TO our generation.

Heh I remember in elementary school all those rumors about him bleaching his skin, which most of us children believed. Never got to witness MJ's greatness (only his demise it seems), but RIP.

Yeah, believe me. After watching white people dance on TV, then changing the channel to see Magical Jackson pop, I was not too young to realize that he was one bad muthaf*cker.
