Lebron won't be the greatest unless he wins at least two NBA championships. Jordan won 5, didn't he?

uh, Lebron isn't fit to hold Jordan's jock strap.
maybe when Lebron wins a few MVP's, Finals MVP's, scoring titles, NBA Championships, etc.....then we can mention his name with MJ's.

No one is saying he's the best, we're saying the potential is there.

meh, people said the same thing about Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, Vince Carter, T-mac, Kobe, etc.
none of those guys can touch MJ's legacy. every single one has potential.
Lebron hasn't even accomplished as much as Kobe yet.

Right now its true, Lebron is not fit to "hold Jordans.." But, Lebron is probably the only person in the league that can hopefully fill MJ's shoes with some time. You have to remember this is Lebrons second year in the league, look at his numbers, by the way he's what? 19? 20? He's also making the CAVS look like a playoff team, I don't think MJ, Kobe, KG or anyone else could make the CAVS look like a playoff team when they were in the second year let alone when they were/are 19 or 20 years old.

oh i agree with you totally that Lebron is not MJ, but when I watch him play I could swear that Im watching Mike ver. 2.0. When was the last time you watched a basketball game just to see someone play besides mike? I'll just flip the Lebron game on just for the sake of watching, Lebron. Last time this happened was watching Mike back in like '96. There's just something about him that he has that the "potentials" i.e. Kobe, KG, and co don't have.
MJ took the Bulls to the playoffs his first year, with NO help....and they weren't even close to making the playoffs the year before.Originally posted by: James3shin

I dont know how anyone can logically argue Wilt Chamberlain being better than MJ, Magic or Bird...Wilt was a foot taller then the average nba player at the time he played. There were only two other people in the league that even remotely approached his height. That was his biggest advantage. He was no doubt a great player...But MJ, Bird and Magic are better in my opinion.
