I take it that you and Michelle are ready and willing to take out the Coke machines first? As a small step?
No?
No!?
-John
I thought most schools already removed soda machines.
Here is the part I don't get; the right complains about food stamps and all the crap people but with them and want to regulate, heavily, what they can be used for, the school lunch program provides a healthy lunch to kids who don't want to eat it and the right goes ape shit.
The right is full of nothing but contradictions:
No hand out because people need to work and pull themselves up by their boot straps but don't go trying to raise the minimum wage, they don't deserve higher pay!
They want small government unless it's a government that tells you what you can do with your body and who you can marry.
They hate high taxes and yet advocate for a flat tax which is a tax increase on the average joe.
They want to outlaw abortions but don't want to help those that can't afford to raise a child properly.
They desperately want a truely free market but they blame government for monopolies.
They complain about government being too big, wasteful, and broken and yet they purposely break the government while obstructing and causing wasteful, unnecessary spending.
They spout the virtue of an isolationist government and yet call Obama weak when he isn't more forceful or threatening action or doesn't back up his threats with real force.
I could go on and on but it just gets more annoying after awhile.
The only thing positive I can say about the right is that they must be the happiest citizens in the country for the fact that they finally have a voice and actually hold political power that truely represents them. It must be nice to have a party you can point to and say, "yep! They represent me, they get me!".
Who would have thought the crazy and paranoid would have gained any political power at all?
/end rant
