Always fun to see MI making headlines like this
/s

We have one of the worst outbreaks and people don't understand asymptomatic carriers. I'd say leave them to their own devices if it weren't for the impact to others. Sigh

It will be interesting what's happens in MI and PA come November

Huh...?! That's not what he asserted.

Sup dude, yea it's not. I say stupid shit to Greenman because he's consistently posting shit that shows he doesn't know what's going on, and when presented with facts simply doesn't care as he shills for cons while claiming independent....but continues to show bias proving that he's only fooling himself. In fact, I'm pretty sure he's got me on ignore. So chill 🍻

Blocking access to a hospital during a pandemic and extending the length of that pandemic is not a good way to ensure the survival of your business.

I'm quite sure @Greenman explicitly said it was the wrong thing to do. I agree with his sentiments. People mostly do the wrong things for good reasons. It is far more productive in making change by trying to understand and caring about someone's reasons even while vehemently disagreeing with their choices as a result.

Cool, wonder when conservatives will get around to doing this.

Don't know. I do know that, individually, each of us only has that choice for ourselves.

See, that's the rub. Humans have a hard time thinking for themselves. It seems we prefer to align with groups based on certain criteria, whether we know it or not. It seems that's how fear and hate take such a prevalent role in societies, including ours.

In fact, speaking like you is often frowned upon and many humans are taught to attack people who would be intellectual types.

Just my opinion.

Without commerce we have no consent. Without consent we have no rule of law. Without rule of law, we are Afghanistan.

These people believe they are protesting FOR their very lives. To break this chain of events as this nation descends into chaos and anarchy as people, in mass, are losing their ability to pay their bills. Homelessness and destitution are going to skyrocket. Following that, crime and civil unrest also surge. Before long militias and terrorist groups will form around the bare necessities for survival and, in return for food and shelter, people will flock to them.

They are scared to death out there. That is why they are protesting. The shutdown is viewed as a big red "end society" button.

If their fear persists much longer, they will stop using words and start using their guns.

They voted to break the system. Let them die

Humans are many things. We have choices. Choices may have severe consequences, like being nailed to a cross for instance.

As just one example, sure. But that reference isn't necessarily attributed a mortal being. Whens the last time being nailed to the cross was outside of a discussion to a religious icon. Which, funny enough, is the same icon that very many hateful people claim to wanna imitate. Kinda curious example to use tho

Guess it depends on what version of history you take to heart.

Guy at the end looked like he was going to cry. 'Cant buy paint, cant buy lawn fertilizer...like come on!' its ironically fkn snowing in the background lmao. If your business is painting and fertilizer youll have to tell your clients we'll wait until its done snowing and you have a choice of colors that can be purchased online for the time being. If you really want to go out and need things feel free to grab whatever they are selling. I understand people are suffering but even then if things were that bad would one even waste gas money? Ive been broke before and still ride that line sometimes when things get hairy, gas/transportation is hard to come by.

As a fellow who's being badly damaged by the lockdown, I can certainly understand the frustration those folks are feeling. I don't agree with what they're doing, but I sure as hell understand the anger.
That sucks, but does that anger include wanting people to die to remedy what ever you are going through at the moment? You must have a number of lives to restore your paycheck or keep your business solvent. Curious what that number is...

Of course I am asking making the assumption you understand that the "stay home" (NOT lockdown) serves the purpose of saving lives and not completely overwhelming the healthcare system?

Let them die, it’s clearly what they want. You can’t protect people who don’t want to be protected.
They have an orange shit stain around their mouth, and of course that is what Trump wants. You have to be a complete idiot to think for a nanosecond that Trump gives a damn how many die.

They can get paint and fertilizer at Lowe's or Home Depot but not Walmart. I do believe that if they are at Walmart and they get x number (20?) of essentials items they should be able to get non-essential items.

Dang. Just checked to see if hardware stores are considered essential in Washington state. No luck, but I can go down to the HWY 420 store across the street from the shipyard and get me some good bud. Priorities.
