I could say that of the 9 games these two have played that decided the Big 10 championship, OSU is 5-2-2 against Michigan, but to be honest I don't see the relevance.
I say the same thing all the time - why compare records of teams with players who aren't playing? I love it when teams haven't played each other for 80 years and you see on TV: "Team X leads the all time series 9 to 1 when they played team Y back in the 1920s, therefore I'd expect team X to win in 2003 pretty easilly."

Back to the original thread: I predict OSU to win by 3 in the second overtime.

Is that even possible in college?

yeah. michigan couldn not score on their possession and OSU can kick a field goal. The only difference is if you score a touchdown in the third overtime, you have to go for two.

Also, just a total shot in the dark, does anyone have any tickets they wanna sell for this game? or know anyone who is selling them?

There should be some on Ebay by now. But no matter how you get them, unless its a sweetheart deal, you're going to have to shell out a lot of cash

Well, these two teams feature the two most overrated cornerbacks in college football. Chris Gamble and Marlin Jackson... I'd take DeAngelo Hall over either of them. And as a Lions fan, that just might happen!

Do you know what Gamble's problem has been this season, stat wise? With a couple of exceptions, teams dont throw to the guy he covers nearly as much as they normally will. He might not be as focused as he was last year (he has dropped several very catchable INTs this year), but he is a darn good CB.

You may say he is overrated, but as long as he can minimize the number of receptions that team's star reciever's get like he has done this year, he's doing well. The only time I can think of that he has screwed up big as a CB was that second Wisconsin TD.

He has good height, and I like his speed. He is still a bit raw. Im not sold on WR/CB tweeners. Jackson is character bomb waiting to go off, again. Plus he will get hurt. Carr isnt doing him any favors spotting him at safety either. Atleast he is a FS and gets to roam a bit...
