Yup... just look at the Fiesta Bowl. Even if it was held in the 'Shoe I dont think the crowd could have had a higher ratio of Buckeye to 'Canes fans.

I would be surprised if there is ANY smoking in this game - it should be a great one.

Michigan is pulling things back together after looking great early (as usual) and then falling apart midseason (as they have lately too). OSU is clearly not as good offensively as last year (how in the hell can THAT be???LOL) but their defense, esp against the run, is still nice and stout. If OSU can shut down the run and make Navarre beat us, as they should be able to do, then they can take this one - Navarre is a heck of a QB but for some reason he never seems to play his best against us; if that continues, OSU by 6.

If Perry gets some room and Navarre plays well, Blue by 7.

Should be a great game to watch either way though.

Ohio will stop the run, and Michigan's passing will have to be perfect for most of game.

Michigan would be ahead of OSU, and play in the Rose Bowl. They wouldn't get to the Sugar Bowl unless USC and LSU lose.

hey geniuses, the only reason I went back two years is because many of the same players are still on these two teams...why talk about the scores from 4 years back or prior since none of the players are the same?

I could say that of the 9 games these two have played that decided the Big 10 championship, OSU is 5-2-2 against Michigan, but to be honest I don't see the relevance.

I say the same thing all the time - why compare records of teams with players who aren't playing? I love it when teams haven't played each other for 80 years and you see on TV: "Team X leads the all time series 9 to 1 when they played team Y back in the 1920s, therefore I'd expect team X to win in 2003 pretty easilly."

Back to the original thread: I predict OSU to win by 3 in the second overtime.

Football practice in Ann Arbor was delayed on Monday for nearly two hours. One of the offensive players, while on his way to the locker room, happened to look down and notice a suspicious looking, unknown, white powdery substance on the practice field.

The head coach, Lloyd Carr, immediately suspended practice while the FBI was called in to investigate. After a complete field analysis, the FBI determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.

Over 35,000 Iowa fans made the trip down to Miami for the Orange bowl last year. That's pretty good considering our entire state has a smaller population than the city of LA & it's surrounding suburbs
