Will any other retailer price match these? Does anyone know?
1366x768 = 760i, right?Originally posted by: lazarus000
so these are only 480i??Originally posted by: WhoBeDaPlaya
Watch out for 480i/p problems because of the ATI Xilleon.
Lots of folks complaining about it over at AVSforum.
[/edit] nevermind ...... they are 1080i

You're lucky or the manager hasn't gotten the word, because nearly everyone at FW asking the stores about this (including myself) has reported that MC will NOT price adjust this year if you buy in advance. They have done that with prior BF sales, but not this time.Originally posted by: LalTimatar
I visited the Micro Center store at Santa Clara, and the Manager told me that they would give me a price adjustment for the LCD TV (Olevia Syntax model 542i). Anytime on Friday. I picked one up, and will go back Friday for a price adjustment

do these have tuner? I still don't have cable box
Ok... so the 42" is basically a 768 resolution? Not a 1080?Originally posted by: cHeeZeFacTory
the 37" one does not have a tuner. hd-readyOriginally posted by: cuti7399

o yea...no such thing as a interlaced resolution on LCDs. You can send it a (i) resolution, but it downconvert, reprocess, de-interlaced, etc to the panel's native resolution.

FWIW, talked to a couple employees & they said each store will have 'hundreds' - in other words, shouldn't be a situation where you have to panic about being in line at midnight & the first one through the door. Hope this helps.

Anyone else confirm this? I couldn't get through on the phone.

I've looked around on avsforum and everywhere else, and I can never seem to get an answer as to how the 32" Olevia looks as a PC monitor.

I was thinking of getting the 37" but it doesn't have HD tuner. What time is everyone here gonna go get inline.

It looks like the 37" has HDCP, it seems everywhere else I look at it that feature is listed. If so, I think that I might try to convince the SO it's a good idea
