Just got the monitor today...
It's a keeper. Very much like my recent Samsung 950p..similar quality of image, resolution, and color saturation.
No slide-out control tray, but the on-screen menus are identical to the Samsung's.
I'm running at 1600 x 1200 and 85 hz. Tried 1800 x 1440 at 70 hz, but seemed a little fuzzy, and flickered under my flourescents. "User's Guide", (tiny little pamphlet) states 1800 x 1440 max resolution. Also states, Samsung is responsible for product compliance. Yes there are BNC inputs at the back.
Works good, looks good, good to look at; great deal.
I'll rely on previous posts and Samsung for warranty, but at this price, (and this size monitor), if it lasts as long as my two year old Compaq V90 (crt hull breach..imminent failure!!!!), I can't complain.
Size is about 19" deep, actually less than the above Compaq (20", and slightly longer than 950p. This is not a short neck, and not a flat screen; just very gentle curve.
Thanks gang for the great lead....!
