I believe it's cas3. I ordered mine on 2/6/01 and still haven't gotten a shipping number yet. The email says it's 3-7 days for shipping. Damnit I should have stuck with the Crucial deal. I cancelled mine cuz this one was $30 bucks cheaper (it was on backorder but the CSR said it would come in today and would ship immediately). Oh wellz. Please post when you recieve your ram please.

Is this 100% compatible with the Dell Dimension 4100 which has an Intel 815E motherboard?

64 MB upgradeable to 512 MB SDRAM

Configurations include one of 64, 128, 256, 384 or 512 MB Non-ECC DIMM(s)
2 DIMM sockets

My friend is NOT going to overlock so is CAS2 or CAS3 most stable if you're not an OC freak?

I just received the memory the chips are micron on a generic pcb but the stick is damaged.
there is a small chip that is broken off in the bag.I called and had to leave a message on a answering machine. will keep you posted

Just put 512 of this memory in my 815eeaal (Intel) and it works great- My Autocad 3D models now rotate in real time much smoother. I am running at cas3, will try cas 2 this weekend., and let you know. Later Howard
