From what everyone is saying the new EULA gives Microsoft control of a users machine so they can determine what is safe and what is not. Why is it up to Microsoft to determine what content a user can and cannot view? I feel that I know what is and what is not safe, and I am crazy when it comes to security. I would hate to see Microsoft admins allowed into my system tell me what I can and cannot do and possibly messing with my data or deactivating programs. Isn't that sorta like communism? Ya I can see how Microsoft wants everything to be secure and safe, but don't you think this may be going a bit too far? Users should have enough common sense not to go places they do no trust, ya I know some do not, but that is their problem... Microsoft does not need to tell people just because they downloaded a song, a video clip, or have a messed up word document that the user does not have secure content. There was a personal survey that I did among the many people that I know which asked if Microsoft implements all of this what would you do? Out of 300 people that I asked 83% said they would switch to Linux and would not have a problem learning the system, because they know that it would be more secure and more stable than Windows. Now with a lot of people and businesses considering this type of solution you would think that the Microsoft Corporation would look at this as a problem and do everything they could not to invade users privacy and telling they what they can and can not do. Being that almost 250 people in my little survey said that they would switch to linux Microsoft would be losing about $50,000 for operating system costs not to mention the hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional products. Ya that may be small to that company, but what if this was so serious that lets say maybe a few million people switched??? That could be a huge loss for Microsoft. They really need to re-evaluate what they are trying to do and how this can affect people and thier company. I don't have a problem switching to Linux because it can do everything Windows can. I am sure there are others that feel the same way as me.

The thing I like most about the new EULA is their wonderful use of paragraphs.
