I think it is the newer 3.0 version. At bestbuy.com it lists the intellimouse explorer with the same mfg. part number B75-00057 and from what I know at looking at the ones at the B&M, they are the newer ones. It this is the case, then hot deal I think.

It might be the new one, but they have the old one pictured. The 3.0 is the new one. It has smaller thumb buttons. I kinda like the bigger buttons on the older mouse.

Either way, it's a good deal.

I'm a bit confused. First we have the new Staples pricematch policy, which pricematches 110% with other stores. However, doesn't their newly revamped pricematch policy state that you can't combine pricematch AND coupon? Someone clear this up for me. Thanks.

Great mouse! I had one for a while, but then it 'burned' out, and microsoft replaced it for free with an intellimouse optical, but its just not the same! Im glad to get my old mouse back for cheap!

some stores like best buy list the newer ver(3.0) but include the older picture with it. so that might confuse some people.

and i am not 100% sure about this but the $10 rebate from microsoft is only for the older version.

I just got the Explorer 3.0 and love it. I'm sending in for the rebate and will keep my fingers crossed, as the only difference is a slight design change in the mouse. It IS an Intellimouse Eplorer and $10 is $10 ... WooT !
