re: the link above: I think your best option, considering the security ramifications, is to create an "Administrative Access Point" vs. giving each user "elevated privileges" as mentioned in the article. You'll see what I mean by reading the article.
Yeah, the cleaner installed fine finally, but it also didn't help. I'll try that admin access point thing and see how it goes.

why don't you check the event logs to see why it's stopping. maybe you need to change some privs on some reg keys. the event logs will tell you what's happening.
