Microsoft Outlook

I've noticed some people have an envelope appear in the corner when they get mail through MS Outlook, without actually having Outlook open. I want to do that, I use Office XP, is it possible at all?

That envelope appears in both Outlook and Outlook Express and is gotten by enabled Mail Notification under either of those programs options. I'm not sure if I've seen that envelope without MS Outlook running. Perhaps it was minimized. That would make sense...Regards

Thanks, but I'm sure outlook was closed...I tried turning on mail notification, but I dont think it appears if outlook is closed...i dont wanna see it on my task bar *sigh* =(
