Hello everyone.
I've been looking to replace my tired, old Dell-branded media keyboard and have been reading a lot of good reviews concerning Microsoft's new SideWinder Gaming peripherals. They look great, are built well and the performance is top-notch.
So, I started shopping around for the SideWinder X6 Keyboard. This bad boy retails for $79.95. I was going to buy it from my usual source (Newegg), but today at my local Best Buy, I saw that they had it on sale for $69.95...same price Newegg is currently offering it for!
While I was there, I decided to look at the SideWinder Mouse. Lo and Behold, it was on sale as well for $64.95! Again, same price as Newegg. I really didn't need it, my Logitech MX-518 was doing just fine. But I couldn't pass up the deal. Now, I'm rolling with some seriously good, high-quality gaming gear!
Yeah, the Sidewinder line is on the pricey side, but it's in-line with similar offerings from Razer, Logitech, etc. If there is one thing Microsoft can do is build high-quality, dependable keyboards and mice. Plus, the software and drivers are super stable and the customization is excellent!
If you're a Reward Zone member and have a rebate coupon or two, this combo is suddenly a very good deal! I have no idea if the prices are perminant or for a limited time. Just noticed that both items had "Now On Sale" tags next to them...check it out if you've been looking to replace your input devices!
