Microsoft Visual Studio.NET University events /w free copies of VS.net, Office XP

Just received this link through my campus mail. Looks like its at Universities across the country and open to students of all majors and all faculty as well. There's some prizes and giveaways. Every attendee gets a free copy of Visual Studio.NET and rumor has it they are also giving away copies of WinXP Professional and Office XP. You gotta sign up for one of the dates on this page:

I've found in the past that it's a good idea to go ahead and register for one of these events
even if you're not sure if you can make it. Sometimes microsoft will mail the software to you
if you don't show. At least that was my experiance from the days of Win2k betas.

the main page says that every attendee gets BOTH Visual .NET academic version AND a full
version of XP Pro. but the next page and the registry confirmation email I rec'd says only that
you get the Visual .NET and doesn't mention XP Pro.

OK... I know I'm a bad bad person for taking someone's seat, but I re-registered using my ".edu" email addy and now I got an e-mail confirmation. I still have no confirmation from my other e-mail addy. Maybe it's best to register using a ".edu" account?

It's says that Academic type folk are 'recommended' but doesn't seem to forbid IT professionals (me) or anyone else for that matter so I?ll register for Cal State Fullerton.
