Midrange system guide changes...

Ok, so im building a new system, and beeing that ive been away for a while, I figured I would stick to Anand's midrange guide selection for the intel system. Monitor and everything. I will obviously switch the vid card and throw in the 8800 GT instead of the GTS. Do you guys have any other suggestions as to what I could upgrade or any recommendations on anything else? Here would be the setup... (by the way, I can wait about a month or two if needed to set up the system. Im not in a hurry at all.)

One thing I would say is that you can get the 520HX much cheaper at buy.com than Newegg.

As the 8800GT has shown, it's worth making some changes just before you are ready to buy... so when are you going to buy? If it's not in the next fortnight, then you'll only have to review your choices all over again when the time comes.

Im hoping to put the rig together in december. Is there anything in the horizon (stupid question, there always is ) worth waiting for? I need it by early January the latest... And what would you change from anands midrange guide?

Of course there will be. Just spend the interim (~4 weeks?) keeping up-to-date with the AT front page & you'll have the info you need on Phenom, G92 8800GTS, RV670/HD3000 series, DDR3 etc.
