I stacked, and I did not get cancelled. Why would ATI be "dilligently going over" these orders? What do they care...they sold their lot, and that's that.

I wouldn't expect your card anytime soon.

I waited 3 months for Nforce 4 now I have to wait 2 months for the Video Card?

wow i understand your pain....i just spent 800 bucks on parts and now they will all sit in my room for a month....what a waste of time...ATI needs to clean up a little...

lol this is exactly what happened with all of the x800pro and x800xt deals this past summer. maybe ati will actually ship some cards out this time thou. me personally, i jumped on three scorching deals back in May and June, and only one of them didn't get cancelled. I feel sorry for some of you guys when they cancel some of your orders a couple of weeks, if not months, from now

technically you can't blame ATI ... i personally never saw a ship date previously on the site... all it said was pre-order. I got in on the deal too but I assumed when I bought it that they wouldn't be around for a while. I also e-mailed them last week and got the end of February ship estiimate...

I remember hearing the argument that the X800XT was not a paper but they simply underestimated demand for the cards. Right now, if you can't even get these cards from the manufacturer's own store it is a sad state of affairs. I should go into business pre-ordering R720s or NV72s for 3 years from now. Remember I'm not anti-ATI either I run a 9700pro in one of my systems and love it. I just think that this kind of paper launch crap has gone a little too far.

Hopefully they actually ship the product. I did however get on the x800XT deal at microcenter for $399. Too bad it is in agp =)

You don't know what pain is! I bought a Chaintech nforce4 ultra board, and the damn thing won't boot up with a PCI graphics card. If I have a PCI Express card in there, it will boot off of the PCI card, but if the PCI Express slot is empty it won't boot with the PCI card.

I have a doorstop for another month, or I can go buy a 6600GT.

Is the 20% still good and has this card been living up to expectations. Does it oc and perform like it's big brother? I'm asking because I am building a rig with pci-e and I just bought a 6800GT agp card for my old computer. I can trade up for aa pci-e 6800GT at eVGA or grab one of these for the new rig.

The 20% was dead few hours after it was posted here few weeks ago
so it will be a less attractive deal for you if you buy from ATI
other vendors might have a better deal for the same card (adding features like VIVO) for the same price

I got my Dfi nf4 ultra rig all set and plugged in... with an empty pci-e slot... just waiting for the x800xl to boot it up..

I just called ATI and talekd to a CSR , I was told that it would be shipped by ...... the end of march

I had to ask him to repeat it

if tat continues like that I will say forget it

I dunno maye one of you will call and they will say the end of Feb

I called a few days ago and they said they were getting them in.... they got some in and shipped them out already (but I haven't heard of anyone getting one yet!) and it would take them until the end of march to fill all the pre-orders...

I'm glad to hear that your card was charged.... that is a good sign.

ATI's policy is they dont charge u until is ready to ship. So lucky u guys. My card has not bee charged yet
